Chaunces, Chance Reynolds, is a local drummer in the manatee area who started making beats in Jr. High via the school’s band program.
Post graduation, Chance joined his current band in 2020 and continues with the same love he started with.
Chaunces can be found playing traditional trio gigs these days and it seems to be what live music goers are gravitating to. For Reynolds, production and live entertainment are his driving talents which is what introduced him to Oscura Performing Art’s Center.
“They've been so great. Having a monthly jazz night at a really cool place is just a good idea, and they're helping to foster a new wave of live music in the area. I'm very grateful they've considered us for their program.”
Jazz night at Oscura is happening this month on February 20th and you can catch The Chaunces Trio live! They will have happy hour all night as well as some smaller dishes available from the kitchen! Doors are at 7pm, show at 8pm with NO COVER CHARGE! We hope to see you there.
Check out Chaunces on social media to keep up with show announcements and their journey into music.
Bye for now
Jade, signing off!
