The Friendly City Flea a curated market showcasing small businesses of makers, musicians, and creatives from southwest Florida.

A space dedicated to fostering connections between like-minded creatives. This would be the beginning launch of one of our candidates businesses. What ever that business may be (product, music, or business service) the candidate would have the opportunity to test their business model out in real life.

The creative community in our area exists - We want to create a space for artists to connect with their fellow creatives, make lasting connections, and cultivate relationships.

L.I.V.E is designed for the creative entrepreneur to take their next steps in the ventures to scale and expand their business taking it to the next level.

Businesses receive mentorship and access to market + production opportunities.

Each business engages in a series of classes in product development, finance, marketing, branding, and operations. We provide opportunities for group and 1:1 mentorship to guide business owners and connect them to a variety of sales opportunities: like the Friendly City Flea, special events, online stores, and the ability to move into brick and mortar retail.

Project M.O.R.E

Project M.O.R.E is a community program by the Friendly City Foundation for students in high school and college from under estimated communities in Bradenton/Sarasota, Florida.

In Project M.O.R.E, each student is paired with a mentor, mentor group, and business mentor to expose them to new opportunities in fields interesting and inspiring to them to give them a first hand experience with creative business ownership and process.

The Old Manatee Historic District is a project of the Friendly City Foundation to help revitalize and support the redevelop of our historic district.

In partnership with the established merchants and community we are working to promote the creative business environment.
